Anti-Inflammatory Turmeric Tonic

This health tonic is anti-inflammatory, rich in antioxidants and great for boosting metabolism, immunity and aiding digestion.
8 servings
Ingredients:
- Juice of 4 freshly squeezed lemons
- 2 tbsp of raw apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp finely grated fresh ginger
- 2 tbsp finely grated fresh turmeric (if you have a hard time finding fresh turmeric, use 1tsp of powder instead)
- 1 tsp of raw honey
- 1 tsp of ground cinnamon
- 1/3 tsp of ground cayenne pepper
- 250ml filtered water
Directions:
1. Mix the lemon juice, apple cider vinegar and honey until the honey is well dissolved, then add all other ingredients and mix
2. Place the tonic into a glass bottle or glass jar
Drink the equivalent to a shot (approx 50mls) either on its own or mix with half a glass of room temperature water. I usually have mine first thing in the morning mixed with warm water or 30mins before meals.
You can add more turmeric for an even higher antioxidant boost, particularly if you are experiencing any type of inflammation.
This tonic will last up to a week in the fridge, but if you like it as much as I do, it won't last that long :)
